Candle Magick

 Candle magick is using the energy of the burning wick to transmit a message or spell. As long as the wick is burning the message or spell is working. Once it is out, the message or spell is released.

For example let's say your message is I love you. As long as the candle is burning, the message is repeating over and over. When the candle goes out the message is released from repeating and should attach to the target.

Electronic or battery operated candles can be used the same way but the battery has to be allowed to completely discharge to release the spell. You can't just turn them off because unlike a candle, the battery stores energy. The spell will withdraw into the battery rather than attaching to the target. Turn the candle off, the spell stops dead in its tracks, incomplete.

The length of time the candle must burn is measured in minutes, hours, or days and the significance of the time requires numerological compatibility. You would burn a candle in a multiple of 4 time units to close on a house.

Some spells require writing on the candle to work the magick. Some require chanting and visualizing the whole time the candle is burning. Some simply require intent and lighting the candle. The differentiation is usually how difficult the end is to obtain.
