Intention Verses Action

Intent verses Action

This is one of the least understood principles in metaphysics. It is also why things just don't work a lot of the time.
You can do your affirmations every morning to get a new job but if your intent is to get your teeth brushed and out to the job you hate as fast as possible, guess what isn't going to happen? Yes, that would be a new job.
There is an even darker side this little problem. Let's say you are doing affirmations or prayers to get a person out of your office and even adding; to a job they will enjoy, but at the same time all the anger, rage and hate is festering as you clench your teeth and pray for them. You are actually going to be cursing them. There is no deity that will be stepping between you and the rebound on this one. You may find yourself out of a job. You may find yourself tied even closer to this person.
Most of the time I tell clients that a spell they do themselves works better because they have more invested in it. In this case, hire someone to get the person moved to a better job and out of your hair. Any time you have strong negative feelings about a situation that you want to improve, it is time to hire someone.
I have seen this in simple things like home improvement projects. A friend trying to replace something that broke was feeling really put out they had to spend the money. They spent a fortune on bandages and almost broke something vital. It was simple. The Universe said if you hate replacing it this much, I'll make sure you don't replace it and off the ladder they went. The intent they felt manifested really well. They had to hire a handyman. If you aren't feeling positive about the project either don't do it or hire someone. My aromatherapy teacher told us that if she was in a bad mood, it didn't matter what oils she mixed, they smelled bad.
The same thing applies to cooking. Your food will reflect your mood. If you are burning things, are you doing a slow burn over something? It is always intent that is expressed over action.
Intent is the hardest thing to face as it often shows us a side of ourselves we don't want to see: the dark side. Suddenly, you have to face what you hate about the person you are “trying” to help. The white light and goodness mask just dropped off and you don't like what you see. Ideally, that is the time to step back from helping the other person and start working on yourself. The problem may really be staring back at you in mirror. Forge ahead and you are guaranteed a real muck up. Your intent will manifest. Fix yourself and you might just discover a whole slew of problems simply go away. The relationship you always need to work on is the one you are having with yourself, not with other people.

That doesn't mean other people can't affect you negatively and do it deliberately. It took me 30 years of practice to run into someone who really was being cursed. No one was more shocked than me. It turned out that just a little bit of protection and she was out the black fog that surrounded her. Since that day, I have seen some really strange stuff. I'll tell you about some of it in the coming weeks. However, I will say one thing right now, do not exceed your skill level because in this area, you can really muck things up for yourself and others and unmucking it is always harder than mucking it. I think the Universe has a perverted sense of humor in that area. The best approach is always limited engagement and limited destruction.
